The SketchBot custom show was a huge success last night with a big crowd. I caught up Steve Talkowski, Jason Sutton, ViseOne, Mooph, Nemo, Chris Raab, Frankie Velez, Rob Losito, and Dave Gittleman. Resin Monster Magnets series one....

I showed these refrigerator magnet designs around at this past Toy Fair and got some really good responses to them so I decided to make FOUR full sets for sale. The Demon (and the crystal jade version) and the Battle Orc (with the helmet) are new editions I added to the older set. The first batch will go up for sale in the Argonaut Resins online store tonight. The other three sets will follow sometime next week. Each head comes a embedded circular magnet so you can stick them right on your refrigerator or any metal surface - you can paint them up too. All sets come in medium gray to light gray resin and will go for $40 plus shipping. (This first set is medium gray.)

I have been invited by the uber talented Steve Talkowski to take part in his custom toy show for his SketchBot vinyl toy at MyPlasticHeart in NYC later this month. I don't normally make many customs these days but this was on a awesome "robot" platform (and I looove me some robots!!!) so I had to take a shot at it. Golden Lilac DESTROYER now available...

My Golden Lilac metallic purple tint DESTROYER custom is now available in the Argonaut Resins online store (http://argonautresins.bigcartel.com/product/o_negatives-destroyer-featuring-eric-nocella-diaz. I normally don't have time to do customs but some of the proceeds from these designer resin toys will be going to O_Negative's charity of choice - Operation Smile.

Also - Sam Fout is hard at work on Wave 2 of the Bone Ghost Agents...and yes - there will be a few clear tints down the road. The next announcement will feature a new artist who has just joined up with us as we continue to work with some of the best talent out there. Stay tuned!!!

END's Custom DESTROYER revealed...Golden Lilac!

My custom Golden Lilac metallic tint DESTROYER made it's debut at Toy Fair this week. He'll go up for sale tomorrow in the Argonaut Resins online store along with all the other Operation Smile charity customs.

Toy Fair 2010!

I (Eric Nocella Diaz) will be at Toy Fair (http://www.toyassociation.org/AM/Template.cfm?Section=Toy_Fair) this year at the Jacob Javitts Center in New York City on Feb. 14th - 16th. I will be doing some type of sculpt demo (how to work in Azbro Toy Wax) at the Creative Factor - booth #4822 and showing a few designer resins/waxes (depending on room and display space) at this show. My set up hours at the Creative Factor will be as follows -
Sunday Feb. 14th: 11AM - 2PM
Monday Feb 15th: 2PM - 5PM
Tuesday Feb 16th: 11AM - 2PM

Stick Up! Customs Coming Soon...

We are very proud to announce a special project that has been kept quite for some time. Our Stick Up! resin figure deserves and grand finale and that’s exactly what it’s going to get. Four special edition Featured Artist Customs.

To end the 30 piece series the last 4 blank figures were given to a few select artist to customize. The 4 custom painted pieces will be hand painted by select artist - Mr. SJ, Jon Knox (http://www.hellobrute.com/), Dez Einswell and Three of GoldCoin (http://followthecoins.com/blog/) . The artists are working on them now and all 4 one off pieces will be available at auction very soon. Stay tuned for more info on the piece details and auction dates soon.
