The Robbie Busch Tuttz Halloween customs will be released at midnight tonight. Happy Halloween!

Halloween Tuttz customs revealed!

Robbie Busch rocked the house yesterday to knock these Tuttz customs out for Argonaut Resins for a special Halloween release. He even added a mono chase figure to the set! These are going in the online store on Halloween. Each Tuttz will come with a mini original gouache acrylic canvass with Robbie's take on the Tuttz cat, a clear tint Skull (from our older EL DIABLO resin releases) and a custom hand painted box.

Halloween release...

The Kings Of Atlantis will start dropping this Halloween with wave 1 at Cookies-N-Cream seen here! Wave 1 will consist of the Wealth King, War King, Sky King, Peace King and Wisdom King and the they will be cast in clear tints, painted in full renders, jade tints and one will even be a glow in the dark uber variant. Which one? Ha! Only the lucky buyer will know that! With each skull purchase there will be a blind boxed Talisman magnet too. Haven't seen the first half of the entire line up? Take a look below -

You get one magnet with each skull purchase - that's right it's a two piece release in one purchase celebrating Halloween and my 2 year anniversary. Which one will come with your skull??? Hmmm....

Pearl Edition Tuttz....

Hey all - I'm very happy to announce I got my Tuttz resin into a high end hand made accessories boutique in my very own town of Hoboken in New Jersey! The brand spanking new Tuttz Pearl Edition (exclusive and limited to 12 pieces) will be sold at Sedona's Boutique - located @ 320 Washington Street, Hoboken, NJ (201) 314-0799


Sedona boutique owner Phil with the Pearl Tuttz. Better call him if you want one - 2 of them sold already and it's the only place you can get a Pearl version of the Tuttz resin cat.

Vengeance King...and a surprise!

Here's the last color way for the 10 Kings Of Atlantis - Vengeance King in a nice volcanic fiery orange clear tint and a lighter variant leaning more towards the crystal skull feel. All the King skulls will be released in waves of 5 mixed pieces. Each of the 10 Kings will have 5 variant colors and Cookies -N-Cream will release the first set of 5 before Halloween. There will only be 50 pieces total and that's it.

Oh...and since this is my 2 year anniversary release for Argonaut Resins I guess I should mention that there will be a blindboxed Talisman magnet skull accessory surprise with each order!!! Below is the finished sculpt and there will be all sorts of special colors with every skull purchase...Surprise!

Why a Talisman??? Simple...it will protect you from the other skull owners so they can't use THEIR skull powers ON YOU!!! Up next - SKULL POWERS!

Sea King...

Two Sea King versions shown (light and dark) - and there will be a third one. Probably a purple jade...Why purple for the Sea King? Rumor has it that this particular skull was found way down deep in Davey Jones's Locker at the very bottom of the sea! Vengeance King will be up tonight to complete most of the reveals. There's still a lot more surprises coming up with this Halloween release and it's my 2 year anniversary so I'll do my best to make it fun, exciting and interesting.

Love King....

The Kings Of Atlantis reveals continue with the Love King in - of course a few different shades of lovely pink day glow tints! Notice that there's 3 different shades for the Love King - that's how I'm doing the waves with certain skulls. Some colorways will have up to 3 variants at triple the power!!! All you need is - LOVE...LOVE...LOVE..love is all you need.

On another note - the Tuttz OG Albino (#2 of 3) I put up in the online store last night to raise some money to send to the ailing Andy Heng of Toysrevil sold out right away and I was able to send a $100 donation out to him via PayPal. Get well Andy - we're rooting for you all the way!!!

Variants...

As promised there would be lot's of surprises with the Kings Of Atlantis resins - how about some variant colorways??? Is there such a thing as a metallic clear tint? I'll let you be the judge of that - so see for yourself...

Wealth King Peace King and Wisdom King...

What's a Halloween release with out a few chase pieces? Did I mention variant chase pieces...? Like I said earlier - surprises, twists and turns....Featured are the rendered metallic Gold Wealth King, the rendered metallic dark Silver Peace King and the metallic Bronze Wisdom King. So that leaves three Kings Of Atlantis left to show - stay tuned!

On another note I just want to extend some prayers for a speedy recovery for Andy Heng of ToysRevil who suffered a partial stroke. Andy has been one of my biggest supporters even before I started Argonaut Resins two years ago. He has selflessly promoted my works tirelessly and has become a really good friend. The entire toy and designer community will be coming together to make all sorts of donations to help Andy through this very difficult time and I too have taken up the torch and will donate ALL proceeds from uber rare Tuttz OG Albino (#2 of only 3 being made) chase figure that will go on sale very soon in my online store.
GodSpeed Andy, GodSpeed!!! If you get to read this buddy - we will be there for you just like you have been for us.

Felt Tuttz...?

I got this cute little visitor at NYC this past weekend from the uber talented felt Goddess Mariangela Tan! She blew me away with this incredible hand felted rendition of the BubbleGum Pink Tuttz. Will there be more felt Tuttz? Maybe a even bigger collabo? Hmmm....we'll see...

2010 NYC con wrap up...

Wow.
So much happened in 3 days my head is still spinning. I had my first ever signing at the New York City Comic Con and it was a blast. I was graciously hosted by Matt and Kev over at Big Kev's GeekStuff booth. Here are a few pics courtesy of my really good friend Rob Losito (smack6102 on Twitter). If you want to know what's happening in our scene he's the guy to follow on Twitter!!!

Then on Friday night Rob and I hit up the ToyTokyo NYC con after party and met up with the who's who of the designer toy world with likes of JRYU, Chauskoskis, Sakiwaki and Drilone, and many many more. Don't know them? Better look them up!!!



I debuted some of the black and gold trim Tuttz OG's which is the original and main color way for the popular Tuttz resin that's been popping up and selling out all over the place. I also had some books and Tshirts on hand as well as few surprise chases and the uber rare Neon Pink Tuttz. Keep a eye on the Argonaut Resins online store as I will dropping some of the NYC con Exclusive OG's that were left from the signings, some rare Tuttz Neon Pinks, limited package deals featuring the Leopard and Albino chase Tuttz. Only one of the Leopard Tuttz OG chases will be made and only 3 of the white and gold trim Albino chase will be made.
