Toy Fair items going up for sale!

The online store will open tomorrow night (Weds.) Feb. 20th at 10PM Est. time and most of the one of a kind Tuttz customs will be available. First up will be a all new custom Mini Tuttz diorama from artist Adam Pratt aka/Small Angry Monster called Mini Beginnings. This new custom features the tomb in which Tuttz was entombed in the Mini format. Adam went all out and customized some micro Egyptian figures to scale and sculpted up a all new tomb rock and scaffolding. And yes, it comes with a bag of real sand so you can display the diorama any way you want...:-)

Next up will be some stunning Tuttz customs by artist Clinton Yaws of CY Designs in the size of a mini and a OG 6.5 inch version. I'll use Clinton's very own quotes to describe these incredible one of a kind resins - "I would like to introduce my two latest custom projects I have done with Eric Nocella Diaz of Argonaut Resins The 6.5 inch custom is titled "Sacred Heart of Gato-lupe"  This is inspired by the dia de los muertos (Gato Muerto) themed stickers done last year by Eric.  The piece is finely detailed with rosary, daisy wrapped sacred heart, and cat skull.
This will be sold as an awesome collectible package.  I am including a framed original 5x7 inch graphite sketch done while waiting for a flight at Denver International Airport!  Also to promote my jewelry line Lunar Opus I am including a Sacred Heart necklace. The custom box also includes a hand painted image of the back of the Tuttz head."

"The Mini Tuttz called "Catnip Trip" is 3.5" tall and highly detailed for the little guy. This piece is detailed with a catnip flower bloom that wraps from the back to front.  The small two-lipped flowers are white and finely spotted with pale purple. Catnip is used as a recreational substance for pet cats' enjoyment.  The custom box is hand painted with the image from the back of the cats head."

There will also be some super dynamic 8 inch Tuttz Splatter Cat customs from artist Selina Briggs of The Jelly Empire. (So you know - I will be rolling with The Jelly Empire at MoCCA this year!)

Also included in the release will be a jumbo pack featuring Tuttz Mini and Sucio mouse as a matching set of jade rendered tints, stickers and a custom vinyl matching Tuttz bag packaging custom made by Obed BoardBags.

Aaaand...how about a Mono Gargolyle Tuttz Mini Toy Fair sample...

Toy Fair 2013!

I'll be headed back to Toy Fair (New York City Jacob Javitts Center) this year once again being graciously hosted at one of the Creative Factor booths run by Brett Klisch. Keep an eye on this blog post as I'll post some images of what I'll have on my table and the extra display table at the Javitts. The plan is to have some Tuttz customs of all 3 sizes from The Jelly Empire, Clinton Yaws and Adam Pratt just to do things a little different this time around. I am also hoping to get back into toys later this year full blast as I will have a few toy concepts being pitched behind the scenes at the show and I'll go into more detail about that soon.

So, first on the list will be the Mini Pharaoh Hound sculpt that I will be working on at Toy Fair for my live sculpting demo at the Creative Factor. This all new sculpt stand at 5 inches tall and will be the companion piece for the very successful Mini Tuttz (3.5 inch version). I hope to see some of you at the show this year - so please stop the Creative Factor to talk shop.

Here are the custom 8 inch Tuttz (fluorescent Splatter Cats) done by Selina Briggs of The Jelly Empire I will have at the show.

Some Tuttz Mini's and Sucio mice samples...
