Wave 1 EL DIABLO goes on sale today in the Argonaut Resins online store -http://argonautresins.bigcartel.com/
The Purple, Green, Blue pants versions (all 3 come with the white King Skull accessory) retail at $125 - the Black Onyx (with the red clear tint King Skull accessory) for $135 and the Ruby clear tint for $150. Each come with hand painted original art box packaging painted by Robbie Busch/ aka DJ McBoing Boing and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by designer Robbie Busch and sculptor/producer Eric Nocella Diaz. There will a $10 shipping and handling charge for all US orders (***and for any overseas orders you will have to email me for the exact pricing to ship your item properly***). We only accept Paypal at this time for all orders.

On the launch pad...

EL DIABLO wave 1 - Purple, Blue and Green pants colorways...There will be these three, the Black Onyx with the red clear tint skull and a surprise colorway. Each will come with Certificate of Authenticity signed by Robbie Busch and myself (END) and designer packaging that we'll be showing very soon. This entire line will be limited to 25 pieces max and released 5 at a time.

How it all started...

Jared and I decided to release the final 6 Vladimir toys at the big NYC comic con in February of next year. We still haven't locked in all of the colorways for this line up but I'll post a little sneak peek here so you can get an idea of where we may be headed with this last batch. Of course all of the Vlad's will be totally different like all previous sets and we'll have all the final images posted before the big con. Jared will be rolling with Kano (http://kimanyen.blogspot.com/) at the NYC con so you know it's going to be exciting...not to mention the surprises we'll have planned.

Size does matter...

For everyone who keeps asking about the scale of our resin toys I made up a chart with the blank figures for this years line up. We're keeping things in the 4 - 6 inch range (for now) with editions sizes of 25 pieces and down (depending on what the artist wants).
What's next for Argonaut Resins?
I guess you'll have to wait until next year to find out.

EL DIABLO wave one colorway sneak...

And away we go!!! The first colorway for EL DIABLO wave one will be a blue pants figure. We'll announce the the other colorways (edition size and pricing) in this wave soon. Just know they will all be different versions with a surprise figure in each wave. Robbie is doing ALL of the paint work on these guys so each will be a one of custom which has been a main theme here at Argonaut Resins. We want every resin toy produced to be an extension of the artist involved and be a work of art. More soon.

EL DIABLO's first two colorways revealed!!!

The Robbie Busch project EL DIABLO first two colorways are the full color and the all black Onyx Editions. These versions will be very limited and each will come with a swappable skull accessory plus a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Robbie Busch (artist/designer) and Eric Nocella Diaz (sculptor/producer). This sassy mischievous devil stands at six inches tall and will be available soon in the Argonaut Resins online store. Prices and edition sizes for each colorway will be announced shortly.

Vladimir Wave 2 goes on sale today at NOON

Today 12 noon eastern time the first half of Wave 2 - 6 Vladimir Ice Edition resin toys will be on sale in the Argonaut Resins online store for $100 plus $10 shipping and handling. Each toy comes with it's signature (and numbered) handmade coffin packaging, a variant Certificate of Authenticity signed by designer artist Jared Deal and sculptor producer Eric Nocella Diaz, a mini art print and a variant wax sealed envelope. We can only accept Paypal payments only. This toy line will end at #25 and we'll be showing the last batch very soon.

When I hand over the Vladimir resin toys to Jared Deal I just never know what I'll get back...and I'll tell you this - it's certainly worth the wait when he puts the rest of the package together. Vladimir wave 2 (ICE EDITION) - part 1 goes on sale this Friday December 5th at noon. Six colorful Vladimir ice tint variant resins will be available in the Argonaut Resins online store...so for those of you who missed out on the first wave of Vlad's here's your chance...the first wave went very fast so - good luck!!!

Looks charming amongst his similarly colored toy brethren in Draifet's private collection...The green Vladimir pic with Bailey the cat hails all the way from the West Coast comes via Jeremy Brautman - EIC of the hot new ToyCyte blog fame. Who's ya Vladdy daddy?

Bloody good time...

All of the 13 Vladimir's have shipped and almost all have found their new homes (the last one drops Monday according to UPS tracking). There's a nice little thread on the Kid Robot forum where all the lucky buyers are starting to show their loot. This Vladimir Blood variant image was taken by NikeJerk from the Kid Robot forum who also managed to snag a painted Vlad too - thanks man, looks wicked!!!
Next up - the Robbie Busch project...oh yeah - and a surprise...(?)

Before we begin I just wanted to say a big thanks to Jared Deal for going all out with this project. When I told him about my new little company and what I wanted to do with it he got it big time and jumped right in, and by gosh - took off! He even transformed the original idea into what it is now...a darn cool representation of his 2D artwork and design. I had a few restrictions on how the design needed to be so we could keep this thing on good budget and he said - no big deal and that he could work with that no problem (what a guy)...and here we are today releasing this fun Halloween inspired happy bat toy...with that said I'll just add a "we'll be back!" Jared is like a art machine...already showing me some more fantastic toy ideas (does this guy sleep???)...heh...also keep an eye on the that little Argonaut links list on the right side here as we just added another artist who has decided to take the infamous boat ride in search of more Golden Fleece art projects....noon baby...the clock is ticking!
